Star Warp… This Hybrid-Sativa beats with a Mediterranean heart, Nebula’s multi-award winning qualities are cherished by growers and smokers alike. There are few plants that deliver with such potency and yet at the time so much clarity. This old school classic is as relevant today as ever and a definite Hall of Fame candidate from our feminized cannabis seeds collection.

This is a plant that really stands out from the crowd and remains as popular today as it was when we first released it to great applause. It swiftly became the plant of choice for many experienced growers who were looking for a quick finish, high yield sativa-hybrids with great smell, taste and effect. However, its ease of growth has also made it a firm favourite with sativa loving novices.

  • The origins of this strain lie in the combination of Afghan, Original White Widow IBL and classic Californian genes.

The Afghani element in the mix brings a high resin content, while classic Haze infused genetics originating from California bring sweetness of flavor and growth stability.

  • Nebula has a wonderful terpene profile, dominated by Caryophyllene, Beta Pinene and Terpinolene.

It is also renowned for the honey sweetness which dominates the fragrance which, along with its fruity bouquet, makes this plant a particularly pleasurable addition to the grow room.

Once dried, the fruitiness comes to the forefront and combined with the honey/sugary coating, the taste sensation brings everyone back for more.

  • Difficulty Level: Easy

Indoors: Nebula is made for indoor gardening (60 – 65 days flower time), and works particularly well when it is used under lights in a constellation of Sea Of Green. Because of the sativa genes this is one star traveler that likes to shoot for the sun, artificial or not, so may need some holding back on the throttle.

Well trained however, it will shower your corner of the planet with buds that are as big as moon rocks.

Outdoors: Outside it will also shoot for the sun, absorbing all the light it can (remember that Mediterranean heart?). It will thrive in southern regions, but this plant is bred to be versatile and will prosper quite happily in northern regions too, especially in south facing plots.

If the conditions are right, gardeners can expect an intergalactic bud shower of epic proportions come harvest.

  • As you would expect, Nebula twinkles and shines. The name reflects the appearance, tight THC rich bud formations that glisten like Lucy’s Sky with Diamonds.

Cannabis growers will be rewarded with buds that are picture perfect, their presentation characterized by fatness, great density and a chunky rock hard form.

Indoor Yield: 500 g per m²
Outdoor Yield: 750 g per plant

  • Recreational: The Nebula effect is part of what makes this strain so popular. It is a quick acting get up and go variety which brings an energetic potency and an inspirational sense of possibility with its first surge.

Perfect for a night out, but also for getting stuck into home entertainment or even day to day chores, while letting the mind wander to creative places. A pleasant indica trail follows the initial ascent, making for a very rounded and very pleasant experience.

Medical: Certainly a strain to induce positivity and a sense of invigorating energy which has made it popular with medical users seeking to bring some uplift to their mood.

  • Suitable for growing outside between 50º n.L. and 50º s.L., Nebula will finish in early October outdoors (n.L.) and between 8 – 9 weeks indoors. Estimated yield is 500 g per m² indoors / 750 g per plant outdoors.

Sativa Strength and Uplifting Clarity

Nebula is one of Paradise Seeds classic strains and its popularity has endured over the years thanks to its potent sativa clarity and its superb Hazey/lemony taste. These are characteristics that have been recognized with multiple cups and awards.

Its mix of Afghan, Original White Widow IBL and classic Californian genes produce a frosty plant and a harvest of space-rock hard buds with an estimated yield of 500g per m² indoors / 750g per plant outdoors. Indoor flowering time is 60-65 days, while outdoors Nebula will be ready to harvest in mid October (Northern hemisphere). The following grow report from cannabis grow expert, The Doc, takes a closer look at its grow room performance.

Germination and Vegetative Stage

The Doc sowed six Nebula seeds (all of them sprouted), kept them in vegetative growth for four weeks. The plants were growing soil, under a 600 W HPS lamp and exhibited great uniformity. At the beginning of the flowering stage, they were 50-60 cm high, with moderate side-branching and dark-green leaves.

Flowering Stage

The flowering cycle revealed that the plants would stretch a little bit, finally reaching approx. 80-90 cm at harvest time, still an optimum indoor height. Nebula exhibits strong, long hairs and very densely packed flower clusters that are coated with large amounts of resin glands in the course of flowering. However, note that this strain has rather high light requirements, never expose it to low light setups, but make use of the fact that Nebula will reward extra light with extra buds.

Breeder Paradise reports that Nebula also performs very well in a sea of green setup, recommending 10 plants per square meter for this method (potential yield: up to 500 grams per m2). Nebula will do well in hydro, coco or soil indoors. But this is not the whole story: It can also be grown successfully outdoors even in Holland (harvest time: mid-October), generally being an appropriate choice for outdoor gardens in temperate zones that offer a minimum flowering time of 9 weeks before the first frost. Once again: Nebula needs plenty of light, so locations with southern exposure will yield the best results. The Doc’s Nebula plants were ripe after 8-9 weeks of flowering, exactly matching the time period stated in Paradise Seeds’ catalog.

Harvest Yield

23-28 grams per plant.

Smell and Smoke Report

A very fast effect onset is followed by a long-lasting cerebral sativa high, accompanied with a certain degree of indica stonedness after some time – Sativa & Indica at their best. Some people even describe Nebula’s high as trippy or psychedelic. As for the Nebula’s THC potential, Paradise Seeds states 18-20%.

And yes, these guys have any legitimation to maintain that Nebula earns its second nickname honey pot for its sweet smell and distinctively honeyed fruit flavor. Both smell and taste of the grower’s Nebula buds were fantastic, indeed very sweet and fruity, and also very smooth in the lungs.

Nebula is a remarkable high-quality strain with the extra plus of great versatility. Grow it, smoke it, get ready for take-off and then reach for the stars…

    3 perfect

  2. Jen B. (Paradise Seeds)

Hi, Team Paradise! In regards to the strain above, I was blown away by it. Initially I had received it as a free gift and could not believe at how easily it grew-and how HUGE. And I LOVE the strain. Personally, for me, it’s very helpful for sleep and anxiety. I ordered it again, but unfortunately I messed up this latest round and was beseiged my mould! I have sense learned many valuble lessons but was broken hearted to have to dismantle every thing early.
