Intercontinental Celebrity Marriage Yields a Highly Gifted Offspring

Chocolate Wafflez is a stylish Cali sativa double dipped to increase power and the speed it takes to harvest. Germination and Vegetative Stage

Two seeds were germinated by pro grower, The Doc. After three days, the germination process had been completed in a quick and reliable manner, then it didn’t take long until the two seedlings got into their stride and displayed vigorous growth. With shade leaves whose fairly slender shape expressed the strain’s sativa dominant heritage. After three weeks of vegetative growth, they had evolved into well-branched plants with a compact frame and heights of 26 and 29 cm. 

Flowering Stage

In the course of the first 4.5 weeks of flowering, the two Chocolate Wafflez were steeply climbing upwards until they had almost tripled in height. Whilst their branches grew to height, their flower formations grew to width, puffing up into fattish buds that exhibited more of an indica. It produced a heavy complex smell, on the one hand earthy, tart and dark, on the other hand also fruity sweet with a layer of dark chocolate.

The plants’ lateral branches, laden with solid, heavily crystalline buds from top to bottom, were forming an upside-down triangle with a thick head bud protruding from the middle of which. After a good nine weeks of flowering – 64 and 66 days –the two plants had fully matured.

Reported The Doc, “Chocolate Wafflez has that insane trichome richness typical of current Californian genetics, its buds are so extremely frosty that looking at them almost makes me freeze cold, this plant is such a heavenly white visual stunner!”

Final Chocolate Wafflez heights were 76cm and 90cm.

Smell and Smoke Report

The buds’ very strong aroma, gently matured in big glass jars, now presented itself with an even more distinct basic note of dark chocolate, infused with a tartly sweet, slightly sour touch of fruit that was instantly reminiscent of blackcurrant to The Doc.

He placed half a gram of Chocolate Wafflez in his Mighty vaporizer and heated it up. The initial flavour impression left on his palate by the first vapor cloud deeply inhaled was an expectedly bitter sweet, tart and spicy taste that really had something chocolatey to it. Nearly as fast as an express the effect rushed into his head, it took only one more puff to get a lively sativa kick going. 

The Doc felt his temples tingle, then his view of the environment intensified thanks to enhanced visual perception . Chocolate Wafflez kind of boosted his brain and also lifted his mood significantly. Fuelled by four more vaporizer hits, that overall surge of energy lasted about 1.5 hours. Then the indica side of Chocolate Wafflez took charge, putting The Doc in a more calm and contemplative state of mind, and accompanied by nicely chilled physical relaxation, this was a very pleasant ending to his effect experience. 

The Verdict

It’s the unusually delicious chocolate/cassis aroma and the fact this strain is a magnificent energising sativa pick-me-up also gives it therapeutic value for those in need – with a perfect grow room performance topping it all off.
